The Neighbor is a romance novella about two neighbors in one of Berlin’s most famous queer districts, SO36 Kreuzberg. Amina, a computer geek, a fiercely monogamous lesbian woman of Color with South Asian heritage and a recent migrant to Berlin is tired of not getting over her former lover in India. Sarah, a white queer feminist, polyamorous and passionate about environmental issues, moves in next door with her cat Shira, wondering if she will ever meet the right person to love. Amina and Sarah could not be more different in their intersectional differences. Yet, these two neighbors find themselves in a situation where it becomes challenging to stay away from each other.
